BIOgraphy

I was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Attended a Technical High School for Commercial Art. I have worked in the Graphic Arts Industries for over 30 years. I started painting faux finishes, furniture, tiles and murals for friends and family. Moved to Memphis TN in June 2005.  I continued to paint, and later discovered how much I enjoyed painting abstract art.  When I paint, I start with a plan and continue to work with it and see where it goes.  While painting relaxes me, it also challenges me to create colorful and textured artwork.  My husband has been very supportive of my interest in the arts.  With his love and encouragement, I met other artists and participate in Mid-South Artist Gallery, Memphis Germantown Artist League (MGAL) and Artists Link - Memphis.
